What We Compound for OB/GYN

Every formula below is from the real Medicine Shoppe OB/GYN order form. Compounded fresh at both Port Richey and Newport Richey MedLink locations.

Vaginal Dryness

Estriol or Estradiol vaginal cream 0.5-10mg (0.5, 0.625, 1, 1.25, 2, 5, 10mg). Applied vaginally at bedtime. Also HLA/Vitamin E/Vitamin A 5mg/1mg/1mg formula per MS order form.

30gm or 60gm

Sexual Health & Libido

Sildenafil 2.5% / Arginine 6% / Pentoxifylline 5% applied vaginally prior to intercourse. Also Vulvodynia Cream: Lidocaine 5% / Diazepam 1% - 1gm PV q6h PRN pain.

15gm libido / 30-60gm vulvodynia

Yeast & BV Infections

Fluconazole 200mg vaginal suppositories (7, 14, or 28-day courses). Boric Acid 600mg suppositories. Metronidazole 125mg/ml + Nystatin 25,000u/ml for bacterial vaginosis.

Suppositories - Multiple durations

Pregnancy Nausea

Meclizine 2.5% cream - 1gm to inner wrist q4-5h PRN. Ondansetron 8mg/ml gel - 1mL to inner wrist TID PRN. Avoids swallowing during nausea. Both from real MS order form.

Applied to inner wrist

Hemorrhoids & Anal Fissure

Hydrocortisone 2% / Pramoxine 1% suppositories (12-60 count) for hemorrhoids. Nitroglycerin 0.13% / Lidocaine 5% cream for anal fissure.

Suppositories / Topical cream

Nipple Care

Mupirocin 2% / Betamethasone 0.1% / Miconazole 2% nipple cream applied sparingly after each feeding. Also Anpo Nipple Cream formula per Medicine Shoppe order form.
